V lounge

V-Lounge
Milan 2011

V-Lounge sofa
Materials: Parota wood, leather, foam

Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass

Bombay topographie Bombay Sapphire Designer Glass

Third place and winner of the inaugural People’s Prize award

I imagined the outline of the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® gin logo transforming into a perfect circle: a fusion between BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® and the iconic martini cocktail glass. The glass was created using water jet cutting, and comprises of twenty-four 3mm glass plates; each one slightly altered in shape to produce the final circle. Stability is guaranteed by the thickness of the glass at the base, however the rim is finer to provide comfortable drinking.
As a final touch, when filled with liquid, the base of the glass leaves a moist impression of the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® logo marked on the table, almost replicating a traditional wax seal.

Third place and winner of the inaugural People’s Prize award

LUXURY PLEASURES

SeMainier
A daily ritual. Pleasure is sacred.
A sacred right to daily pleasures.

Photo Roberto Grecco

Reinterpreting the world of sex toys may seem bold while the market is overflowing with items of all kinds.
To produce a series of high quality products (both aesthetic and functional), a concept was needed to create objects that tells a story in addition to their erotic side.
The line of products "luxury-pleasures" is inspired by the theme of Genesis. It contains seven objects, one for each day of the week.

On the first day God created light.

Candle made with white beeswax and silver base.
Beeswax symbolises the virgin flesh of Christ and the Virgin Mary.

Candles: white beeswax                             .
Base: polished solid silver                            .

The second day God created the sky.

The choice of colours is very particular: The blue sky representing Virgin Mary. She is often depicted with a blue coat called maphorion. Green is also used to represent the Virgin with the Child Jesus. The red roses are a symbol of virginity. Blind fold inspired by the stole of the priest.

Silk mask
Blue silk and silk embroidered
from St Gallen, Switzerland (Haute Couture).

On the third day God created vegetation.

The ring symbolises the union between God and Man. It is made in black ebony like most Black Madonnas. These figures are associated with rites of fertility and sexuality. The choker necklace is made specifically with thirty three links like the Rosary of Precious Blood which contains thirty three grains referring to the years of earthly life of Jesus.

On the fourth day God created the stars.

Horn inspired by the crescent moon, symbol of regeneration.
Moses is often depicted with horns symbols of strength and wisdom, which are also symbols for the Devil and destruction.

Hand-made Glass Dildo with 23 carats gold leaf.

On the fifth day God created birds and fishes.

Inspired by St. Francis who talked to birds and animals, and who wore a scapular (devotional necklace made of small pieces of fabric that some priests wear on their chests and on their back on top of their clothing).
The rooster feathers symbolises the arrival and resurrection of Jesus. In medieval liturgy, priests used a broom made of feathers (flabellum) to sweep the air and symbolize the heavenly powers who supported Jesus during the night of his death.

Necklace for caressing and tickling.
Made in solid silver, pink gold and rooster feathers.

On the sixth day God created Man.

The whip is made with human hair and Carrara marble.
The marble refers to death like the altar in the church represents the Holly Sepulchre. It contains 39 braids, the maximum number of lashes in religious punishments in Jesus’ time.

Negras Intenciones

Photo: Klaudya Estefania

Luxury and inspiration in 7 obsidian knives enlight the Negras Intenciones
line. The volcanic glass has been interpreted by some as a symbol of power
and protection; for others, an instrument of healing, sacrifice and magic…
Obsidian, essence of the handle in the Negras Intenciones line, stone and
texture divine, will arouse the deepest pleasures when cooking.
Delicate carving from expert hands, perfection and quality of the craftsman,
tireless seeker of the best stainless steel, gives way to the subliminal balance
of the 7 Sacred Knives of the Negras Intenciones line.

“The darkness beyond the light and the light melts into the darkness”
